The Last Spike Was Driven At Fort Fraser When Track Laid From The East Connected With Track Laid From The West At Prince Rupert. During 1913, The End Of Steel Of Gtpr Main Line To Prince Rupert Was At Tete Jaune Cache. This Temporary Town Embraced All Facilities: Gamblers, Bootleggers And Sporting Ladies To Quickly Part Hard Earned Wages From Naive Workers Without Having To Go To Edmonton To Go Broke And Return To The Job. At Times This Was Expediated By The Facilities Being Transported Down River On Scows, Making Overnight Stops At The Larger Camps.
